Mixed Vegetable Raita

This raita is a perfect accompaniment to all meat dishes and also goes really well with Biryanis.


Yogurt 400 – 500gms
Cucumber 1 small, finely chopped
Tomato 1 small, finely chopped
Onion 1 small, finely chopped
Fresh coriander leaves, chopped 2 tbsp.
Green Chilli 1, finely chopped
Fresh mint leaves A few sprigs, chopped
Red chilli powder ½ tsp.
Black Salt To taste

Preparation Method

Wash, peel and cut onion, cucumber finely.

Wash and cut tomato finely. Wash and cut green chillies. Clean, wash and chop coriander and mint leaves.

Beat the yogurt and add water or milk to adjust the consistency.

Mix all the remaining ingredients with the vegetables.

Serve chilled.
